Role and objectives
The ENSAE-ENSAI Foundation is a foundation recognised as being of public benefit by the École Polytechnique Foundation, whose aim is to contribute to raising the profile of GENES and its two grandes écoles, ENSAE Paris and ENSAI, both in France and abroad.
Thanks to donations from individuals and companies, it will be responsible, in particular, for supporting projects led by students at these schools, awarding prizes and scholarships, and working to develop a high-quality student life.
Furthermore, in line with the schools’ tradition of academic excellence and to further the development of research at the highest level, the ENSAE-ENSAI Foundation may establish or fund teaching chairs or visiting professor programmes.
The ENSAE-ENSAI Foundation is a foundation operating under the umbrella of the École Polytechnique Foundation, which has been authorised since December 2020 to host foundations with objectives similar to its own.
Governance
The ENSAE-ENSAI Foundation is administered by a management committee comprising the President of the École Polytechnique Foundation, the Director-General of GENES, one representative from each alumni association of the GENES schools, and qualified individuals recognised for their expertise in the Foundation’s areas of activity.
